Jockey David Mansell and trainer Julie Houldey have proved an irresistible force over the last couple of months and their winning run shows no signs of abating because they went home from this meeting with three winners courtesy of victories by Just Talking and Maranach in the two divisions of the Restricted, while The Humbel Monk took the Confined Maiden.

After the Mens Open Julie Houldey expressed her satisfaction with We’re Confused run behind Cappa Bleu. “Mine is still learning and the winner is some machine” but it was not long before the North Nibley trainer returned to the winners enclosure following victories by Top Benefit (Intermediate) and by Just Talking in the 5-6-7 year old Maiden
